Step-by-Step CCX Plugin Installation

The FrameFlow CCX module is engineered for Premiere Pro 23.5 and newer on macOS Sonoma and Windows 11. Follow these exact steps to avoid XML parsing conflicts and ensure stable CCX communication.

1. Download the FrameFlow_CCX_v2.4.1.zip package from your creator dashboard. Extract the contents to your desktop.
2. Open Premiere Pro and navigate to File > Preferences > Plug-ins. Toggle "Enable Third-Party CCX Panels" to ON.
3. Locate the FrameFlow.plugin file inside the extracted folder and double-click it. The CCX installer will verify your Adobe Creative Cloud license and check for required dependencies.
4. Once the progress bar hits 100%, restart Premiere Pro. The installation log will confirm successful registration at ~/.adobe/CEP/extensions/FrameFlow (macOS) or %AppData%\Adobe\CEP\extensions\FrameFlow (Windows).

Once installed, navigate to Window > Extensions > FrameFlow to launch the dedicated workspace. The panel integrates natively with your Project Panel, Media Browser, and Timeline.

Library Browser

The left column displays AI-generated 4K clips tagged by motion vectors, color grading profiles, and shutter angle. Filter by codec (ProRes HQ, H.265, or DNxHR) to match your sequence settings without manual conversion.

Drag-and-Drop Proxy Generation

Click and hold any thumbnail, then drag it directly onto your timeline. FrameFlow automatically generates a lightweight 1080p proxy file, links it to the original 4K source, and applies a 2.4k render target. No manual media import or folder management required.

Sync & Relink Tools

The bottom toolbar includes one-click proxy relinking and frame-accurate trimming. Use the "Conform to Sequence" button to match clip duration, frame rate (23.976, 24, or 29.97), and color space (Rec.709 or DCI-P3) instantly.
